Project description

What problem does the project solve?

How can young people become more interested in politics or even get involved in political processes themselves? How can we encounter distrust by these young people in politicians or even the political system in Serbia (or Western Balkans), while creating an environment in which they are empowered to participate? This group has insufficient knowledge of political processes, is less politically active and is losing confidence in political institutions. Continuing the “state of the art” will eventually lead to exclusion of young people and consequently jeopardizes the democratic system.

How does your project address the problem?

The project wants to provide an opportunity for young people in Serbia to expand their knowledge about the political process and understand the importance of political participation through the ideglas.rs platform. The project seeks to give young people the opportunity to increase their knowledge of the political system and political decision-making and to improve their skills useful for participating in political processes. The solution should include gamification elements in order to attract the interest of young people by increasing their awareness of their role in the political system and by engaging them to participate in it.
