WIKIMOVE – A podcast to imagine the future of the Wikimedia Movement
What is Wikimove about?
WIKIMOVE is a podcast about where the Wikimedia Movement stands in moving towards its strategic direction 2030.
In the podcast we look into the future, optimistically, rather than complaining about the past or present. While paying respect to the ‘old’ movement, we critically question colonial and unequitable systems, structures, narratives and habits. We especially welcome people trying new things and developing innovations, whether they succeed or fail while doing so.
The topics can be derived from the strategic direction, the recommendations, the principles, the initiatives, or even larger issues and concepts from the knowledge ecosystem or beyond that are relevant to the transformation of the Wikimedia movement.
The hosts:
Nicole Ebber, Nikki Zeuner and Eva Martin from Wikimedia Deutschland’s Movement Strategy and Global Relations team.
